This course is for MSS graduates. It will cover the philosophy and scientific basis for performing and interpreting a Qualitative Manual Assessment of Motor Control (QMAMC). Course participants will learn to set up a QMAMC for all major bodily configurations, Including cervical, fingers, toes, trunk and spine, shoulder girdle, radio-ulnar, and all of the screens. Significant emphasis will be placed on practitioner mindset, bodily preparation, delivery of the perturbation vector, and judgments about the outcome. There will be a heavy focus on practical application.
The QMAMC is an essential tool for the MSS Practitioner. It provides critical information about a client’s motor control capabilities and informs decision-making systemically, regionally, and locally. It assesses whether an exercise stimulus is well tolerated and guides the specific prescription of a particular exercise. As a fundamental process for sampling to determine the following actions, it is invaluable. It requires a knowledge of basic physics and anatomy to set up and execute at a high level.
Take your skills to the next level by attending this critical skills course.
